Don: Your memory is OK !
Five or Six years ago, a friend of ours bought a Hunter 25 or 26 with an electric inboard motor. It had 11 batteries that charged off of shore power. It was a really slick deal and, as long as the wind didn't pipe up, it had plenty of power. The boat is sailed on a lake, so currents were not an issue. When the batteries needed replacement, the owner converted to an outboard and removed the batteries. (The boat sits a little higher in the water, these days.) Fair Winds, Ron
