For all those inquiries HOW gets over the course of a year or so about electric motors, here is a website showing some fairly new technology and products that may have slipped by un-noticed. I was thinking how nice electric power would be for a sailboat. The 4hp could work for me if the price gets right. Just have a carry a bank of 6 volt golf cart batteries which I already have.

Interesting, but the prices

are not there yet. Did you hear about the Russian manufactured and installed nuclear mini power plant for sailboats. I think refueling was every 20 years and it would have to be done at the factory. Certain ports have restrictions on nuclear powered boats. I would be afraid of glowing at night.

my boat is nuclear powered

It works by a process called nuclear fusion, causing the nuclei of various light elements to combine together. The process releases vast amounts of energy. This energy is what creates convection currents within the atmosphere. My nuclear powered boat uses the convection currents as a propulsion method.
