A few years ago I had the same problem. I called Catalina and they sent me the diagrams. They were very helpful. Mine is a 72. If they still had mine, they should have yours. You may also try the Catalina 27 web site.
Have a look at the Onofficial Catalina web site at http://www.geocities.com/catalina+27/ click on the word diagrams in the list on the left hand side of the home page then go down the list to electrical system diagrams.
