Singles on Sailboats (.org), an IRS non-profit group, has their annual "Spring Training" day on March 12. The entry fee includes a continental breakfast, lunch, door prizes (which may return your entry fee). This notice is also posted in the February Spinsheet magazine. In short, it is a day of going back to high school; 4 periods in the day, and you get your choice of nine classes per period- so you can choose your subject of interest. Classes are given by some of our own SOS members, while others are given by professionals in the marine field. Other SOS members are on this SBO site. You do not have to be single or an SOS member to attend.
For anyone interested in joining SinglesonSailboats, we have a Sunday Brunch at the Doubletree Hotel on Rive Rd, Annapolis at 11:00 the 13th. Meet and greet and get a good meal. The subject of the March 13th brunch is our (short) semi-annual meeting, and the main presentation is our 2015 Year in Retrospective in pictures.
