Wheel Steering Conversion
Hi Dave, I have an O'Day 25 that has Edson wheel steering, it was on the boat when I got it. Having been a tiller user for a long time it took a little getting used to, you don't have the minute response signals you get with a tiller. The only real advantage is being able to let go of the wheel for extended periods without having to use a tiller tamer. The very real disadvantage is the wheel and post take up a great deal of cockpit space! Terry
