Uh oh. I tore into a 335 Edson pedestal this morning, for a friend that knows little about them. So, the clamp that holds the shift and throttle cable, that is located under the sprocket shaft, is evidently not an Edson part. Who knew.
So any ideas on who keeps this apparatus? It never occurred to me to take a picture, as I was sure Edson carried it. Anyway.

(I just had one of these pedestals apart the day before on another boat, and it's a project to get those cables out the top side with the clamp still attached)..

Thanks all.

If the shift cable is the 33c, the part is called a cable holder, Edson part #960-A969.

If the shift cable is the larger 64c like for an Atomic 4, call Edson and ask for a cable holder for an engine control #751ST-45.

Wow Neil, look at you. I looked at Edson's site for 45 minutes, and saw no sign of this part. I think this boat is a Sabre, 'bout a 28 footer, with a Nanni diesel. Odd ball motor, either a Kubota or Mitsu marinized.

I took a look at the Nanni diesel for that size sailboat and I'm confident it takes the smaller shift cable. Therefore the #960-A969 cable holder is what you're after, $25 in Edson's retail price list.

That Edson site is tough to find parts.
