I have seen several remedies to the jib sheet cleat issue on the 240. I finally found a cheap and easy resolution to the problem. Clamcleat part # CL228. I did some research and the holes match up perfectly. This is a jamcleat with a farlead that maintains the correct angle of the Jib Sheet in the cleat unlike the stock one that pulls itself free whilst sailing. Just thought I would share it with people before they go cutting Teak wood for risers or drilling holes for cam cleats. Hope this helps someone else. This website has been a great help to me. Just trying to give back a little. Installation PDF

It has been a long time since I sold the 240's as a former dealer but the swivel cam cleats used eventually vs. plain cleats, the manufacturer came up with riser plates to elevate the forward portion of the riser upward to be able to secure the jib sheets more effectively as it would not without them which I told the manufacturer so.
