East SF Bay mechanic for Universal 5411

Can anyone recommend a SF Bay Area diesel mechanic to tune up my Universal 5411. It runs well but constantly makes black smoke. I've been through troubleshooting and have decided I want a good mechanic to check it out & tune it up.

Not that it'll do you much good, what with me not working anywhere up past Point Richmond... ;-)

I'm moving to Marina Bay this week & picked up your card in the
Marina office. Adam Leonard (North American Dive Service) has been taking care of my boat for a couple of years at Glen Cove Marina. I don't know whether he will come over to Richmond....
