While I was removing a portlight on my e25 today I noticed there was no wood core between the fiberglass deck and the inner fiberglass headlinner. Is this correct? I expected to see some sort of wood core. There was a slight void between the layers, if there is no wood core do the layers need to be rebonded?

Yes, you are correct there is no core there, only where you walk, non-skid areas. Go over to ericsonyachts.org and check out the specs page. Tons of E-25 stuff on there, even pictures of window rebedding. Rob
