Dumb question from new owner of a 361

Hello,

I just bought a 2001 361. The freezer seems to get cold but the voltage drops after 5 minutes to less than 11 and then trips the fuse. I was thinking of starting by checking the batteries but if that fails how do you get to the compressor/control unit? Thanks.

My compressor is underneath the cabinet to the right of the oven. Unload all your dry goods/dishes, and the floor of that cabinet should have an access panel that you remove to expose the compressor.

I would first put a load test on the battery, it may not be holding a charge. my 352 has a regular battery for the motor and a monster golf cart battery for the house. Although I've never checked it I could leave the fridge on all day and not have a problem. My compressor is on the port side under the transom, access through the port side locker in the cockpit.
