Having some issues with my throttle/shifter. The throttle is sticking to the shifter when I put the boat in forward gear, so unless I manually hold it back, the boat will slam forward. The shifter also sticks in reverse, but will lock when it can't go back any further, and I can move the shifter into neutral/reverse. I took apart the mechanism to see if I could loosen the tension, but hit a roadblock. The inner gear (silver) is the throttle, while the gold piece is the shifter, but I can seem to get them independent. Any ideas? (Bought the boat used, so i inherited the setup)
