As some of you know I am ready to head across the gulf for Isla Mujeras, just as soon as the stupid weather starts to make some sense. Anyway after a little research, it became apparent that coming back into the country is much easier with the decal. So I jumped through all the hoops, and did the paperwork. From all I had heard it would take at least a month to get the decal, but a receipt for the application and payment would suffice in place of the decal I was told. I did pay an extra 6 bucks upon application for expedited handling. Lo and behold, had it in less than a week. Actually about 5 working days, from application to delivery. So, anyone who is applying, I strongly recommend that you pay the 6 bucks for the expidited handling. Of course it doesn't make it any easier to go online and do the paperwork two step.
