Dry Wood Termites

I have found evidence of dry wood termites inside my boat. Is tenting the boat the only solution to elimination, or are there other options?
Help.

Put about a hundred pounds of dri ice inside and close it up tight tape the openings This will drive off the oxygen and sufficate the little beasties. Be carefull when you go back in.

a friend had good luck with wd40 into the holes..lol....other friend had good luck with using orange oil on his wood...

Are you serious about this? do you know if it has worked? I would be worried about the damage it might do to the floor surface of the boat.
Would you suggest putting the ice in a special container that would disperse the temp on the surface?

Gosh, this sounds like "Ask Heloise" household advice column.

dry ice is carbon dioxide and yes it does work. Put it on a sheet of foam insulation if you fear for the cabin sole.
