when the head is pumped out on dry, the water is removed down to approx. 1/2" in the bowl. is this how it is suppose to work or does it need to be rebuilt or replaced?
Marine toilets aren't designed to hold water in the bowl...it would only end up all over the head when the boat heels or gets tossed around in heavy seas. So all that should be left is just a little in the neck of discharge.
