When removing 260 from trailer on land, where would be the best structural places for jacks or stands?

Hi Steve,
The best source for info you need is the Brownell Boat Works in Mattapoiset Ma. They are the best at boat transport and storing on stands.
Good luck

Are you attempting to remove the boat from the trailer using jack stands? If you say yes, you will be risking damaging the boat and possibly hurting someone. Do not do it.

If you are going to have a travel lift and place on the stands, my strong suggestion is to use 8 stands and that sir is coming from an experienced retired dealer who sold nearly 25% of the production line. You will need to rap the hull listening to where the thickness is and making sure that two stands of course one each side is connected by chain. If you see the hull dimpling in, then move the stand to a differen location unless the screw part is too far up. If a marina tells you that you only need four stands that is bull fiddlesticks and I have told them so. You are supporting 3000 plus pounds on the stands so use four each side for a total of 8
