Have a 78 Newport 30 MK II and have to drop the mast for repairs...I'm not built for scaling it...any suggestions on how best to accomplish this feat?

I can think of several ways to DIY, all of them dangerous.
The size and height and weight commend a crane.
Yards to this for a living, trust them. I tried and failed, once.
