Dropping/Raising mast without a crane and mainsheet traveller installed almost.

Hi - is this impossible - or just difficult & dangerous?

Any suggestions welcome.

PS thanks for tips on removing old mainsheet traveller track. In the end
I just drilled the bolts out. Of course the new Lewmar traveller car is
too wide to fit into the moulding at outboard sides of location of old
track - so I have to drill 12 new holes about 1cm aft of the original
ones, and of course the end stops are slightly too wide to fit so have
to be cut to size.

As we say in Ireland, it will be a great job when its done...

Hi all. When we replace Lyric's traveller we cut a piece of teak to use as
a long block between the rail and the recess in the frp. It was an easy
solution. Walt
