MY 35.5 HAS A 24HP YANMAR, IS THE LENGTH OF THE SHAFT THE SAME AS WITH A 27HP ENGINE. I THINK IT IS 1"X 48" THANKS

Don, it's better, and less confusing if,
you provide your model number. It sounds as if you have a 3GM30(F). The 27 hp is close to its' rated 'full military power'. In other words, probably the same engine, so, same shaft. How's the weather in Paradise? See you folks this summer.

Don,cheched the boat spec here on HOW and the 35.5 had a 1"x48" shaft.The "24" hp is the same a the "27" hp (3cyl). the engine has two mfg rating for constant hp and "intermintant" (full) hp rating.
