Dripless shaft seal replacement question Hunter 410.

I am needing to replace my dripless shaft seal on my 2001 Hunter 410.
Well I need to remove my Rutter to accomplish this? Or is there enough room to slide shaft back to replace without need to remove rudder?

You do not have to remove the rudder. The challenge is getting the hub off the shaft. I tried last year and bent several wheel pullers with no sucess. The yard said they normally cut the shaft. that would require rudder removal.
I am ready to try again next time I haul the boat. I think I can cut the hub with a sawsall and hacksaw.
