Does anyone know what the product is that is used to make drawer sides and backs for some boats? It is a hollow extrusion (PVC?) and uses cast plastic parts which snap into the ends to form corners. There are also snap in flanges for mounting the drawer front. The bottom is cut to fit the existing slots in the sides and front and there is also a groove for the drawer to slide on formed in the outside parts of the sides. I am also interested in anything similar as I am making a few new drawers for my V-berth. Any ideas on where to find this stuff or something like it?

Patrick, no idea, but drawers are a terrible waste

of space. The ones I built are home made and use tracks from Home Depot. They are really easy once you get the hang of it. But again, consider lockers and bins first.

Lockers and Bins

I agree with Fred, after lots of thought on the subject I said keep it simple stupid and made cut outs and new doors, plastic bins fit inside and STUFF you know that Stuff that needs a place to live fits right on top of the bins and I get more storage space for the STUFF :)
