When I open the stopcock on the bottom of my Racor diesel fuel filter in order to drain the water, nothing comes out. I can see the water in the bottom of the bowl, but it doesn't drain. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something else I need to open or adjust to get the filter to drain? Chris.................

Not sure which racor you are attempting to drain. I have the mam120, and it has a small vent screw. I have found that if I open the drain and wait awhile, it eventually will drain. Anyway, I think a vent is the key. Michael
