Looking for a replacement for a dead drain pan pump. Can't find an exact replacement (EDC International Model DPP 0062.2 110v 30 W). Help, getting tired of manually bailing the thing! The unit is a Cruiseair A/C unit and works fine otherwise. The pump has to have some sort of auto on switch. There is a hose to a thru hull that attached to the old pump. Boat is Beneteau 343 2007.

Thanks for any help,
Dixon

I'm not sure I understand but think you are describing a pump to empty the drip pan. If so, why reinvent an unnecessary appurtenances?

Simply run a hose from the pan through a Venturi to the a/c cooling pump hose overboard discharge. No moving parts and nothing to fail.

Have you contacted Beneteau parts? This has been a standard install (including on my 423) and much preferred to dumping the condensate into the bilge.

I found that system to be a piece of c**p on my 31. A few weeks ago I changed it out and installed the Mermaid Condensator. So far, so good.

Dixon,
I had the same problem on my '06 343. After much hunting and dead ends on the internet I ended up finding these folks Kele.com last year who were able to get me a new pump(just under $200). I just tried locating the part on their website but couldn't. On my invoice it referenced part # DPP.0062.2 and description: Drain Pan Pump, 110-120VAC, 3 gph. When I did order the pump I called to order it and they were extremely nice. They were a little taken aback by the fact that I just wanted one unit and it was for a sailboat but they shipped it within a day of me calling and ordering. Hope this helps.
