Drain in head

I have noticed that my drain in the head of my Vision 32 drains pathetically.After a quick shower, the water typically takes several hours to completely drain. Has anyone ever made the existing drainage larger??? or added another, better placed drain????

slow drain

On my boat (H340)the shower drains slowly as well. I have found that the check valve before the pump gets sticky. I plan to take it apart but a couple of gentle taps seems to get the water to flow...Scott
