Draft

This past weekend I was helping a friend load his C250 wing keel on his trailer. He told me his draft was 41", I really thought he was mistaken because I knew that the older C25 wing keel 1989 and below have a draft of 2' 10". Now for my question. Why the difference in draft? Are the older ones not as stable as the newer models? I am presently thinking and looking at buying an older model C25, that is the reason for the question.ThanksGreg

Greg, Are the earlier boats swing keels?

I am thinking that the earlier boats were swing keels converted to wing keel. However, I believe that the 89 model came from the factor as wing keel.I really trying to determine what are the differences between the two wing keel models.ThanksGreg
