Downwind
Dave I have a C380 and downwind is its slowest point of sail, everyone I speak to says the same, and its not just Catalinas. I am thinking of buying a Spinnaker to improve its performance but with just two of us sailing most the time I think it may be a bit hard to handle. Not sure what a CAL39 is. We love our C380 and after going to the Sydney Boat show recently, the only other yacht I would consider would be a Hunter. You can't go wrong with either, they are great Yachts.
