I searched the forum and have found where Mr Guillette references an article he wrote on this very subject posted on http://kindred-spirit.net. I'm not able to find this article. Does anyone have it?

BTW, thanks very much for that link. Al & Michelle came and sailed with us here back when they had their C34. He and I "tackled" many of the same issues since we bought and started improving our boats about the same time. The best one was the location of the "massive" Freedom 15 combined inverter/charger which we both put under the nav station - worked out great. We did a lot of "electrical system" investigations back then, too. I also "goaded" him into entering the C34 National Regatta one year, and he was astounded when he won it!
I'd lost contact with them, and it's great to reconnect.
The fellow he sold his C34 to still has it, #55, out on Long Island IIRC.
