Downwind in a H22

I started racing in our local PHRF series. I seem to be able to hold my own with the bigger boats on all points of sail except on a dead down wind run. I need some advice.

Dead downwind?

I've never sailed a Hunter 22, but I do one-design racing in Lightnings (19') and they are simply dogs going dead downwind. Out VMG is a lot better if we're off by 30-40 degrees or so, depending on the winds. How are you trimming your sails? Outhaul eased? Halyard/cunningham eased? Vang on? Board up? What are you doing with your spinnaker? (Does an h22 use a spinnaker?) Is the boat balanced fore & aft?
