down angle transmission

I am buying a new yanmar 21hp that according to the seller could only come with a 8 degree down angle transmission. The engine that I took out had a 7
degree down angle transmission. Shall I go ahead and buy it? Can this problem be solved by tilting the motor or using a rubber coupler?

What is the angle of your propeller shaft to the horizontal? On my boat the propeller shaft angles 15° and my transmission has an 8° down angle so my engine sits at a 7° angle. That is better for the engine.
