I am interested in building a removable double birth inclding the Starborad birth in the main part of the cabin. Any Ideas would be apriciated.

How about a queen?

We went a different route when we had a C-27. We simply bridged the gap between the port and starboard berths with a piece of plywood sitting on two cleats on the berth risers. We cut the plywood into two pieces to aid in storage. This is practical only for a couple with no guests on board since you give up your passageway but, for us, it was worth it to have such a large bed.
