I may go to Holden Beach, NC this weekend but plan on getting in only up to my ankles:) Don't want a Candygram and be human chum for the sharks. It would be nice to return home with all my appendages.

I dunno... might be a good place to take the mother-in-law for that "dream" vacation
And maybe mix some fish bait into her bottle of sunblock...........

I only have one rule of the boat. No falling off of the boat. I sail Oak Islands coast frequently, and now the sharky thing just reinforces why not to break rule number one..

If a Asian Carp can jump into a boat why not a dolphin? Center console fishing boats do not discriminate :)

The shark thing in NC. Sharks live in the ocean, we decide to go swimming & in doing so willfully become part of the food chain. Pardon me for becoming a full fledged curmudgeon but what part of this do the civilized people not understand.....

Dolphin (the fish) often jump into fishing boats. We used to fish the weed lines off S. Florida, and Dolphin would crash the baitfish by jumping out of the water and landing among their prey. Once in a while, they land on a boat.

I have seen some get caught, flap on deck so hard they flip back into the water!

Thanks,
Andrew
