Does anyone know of a easier way to raise the mast on a H23.5? I have a 93' and have a hell of a time getting the mast up without help. There has to be a better way than how the manual describes.

I consider mine very easy to raise, and I've never had or needed help to get it up and down. Could they have changed something between 1993 and 1995? Please describe what the difficulties are and perhaps we can spot the problems. I had to replace the mainsheet with a longer one and I have to loosen the forstay turnbuckle to undo the forestay. Other than that, I do as the manual instructs. ...RickM...

Should have...
gin pole, 2 side stays...plus the mainsheet, that's the system. Relatively simple and easy to use, even single handed. What do or don't you have/use?
