Dodger

Just wondering if anyone out there has installed a dodger on a similar boat to mine (91 Hunter 28). We sail on Lake Superior and any extra warmth will keep the Admiral in a better mood. I am not sure where to start looking for one. I have done some checking on the web and the dealers I have found so far all want the boat nearby. No dealers near us that I can find, any ideas???

Put one on a 28 Oday

I put one on my previous boat, an Oday 28. Call your sailmaker or a local canvas guy to do it. They will fit one to the boat. If there are others that they have done, of your same make and model, they may already have a template that works. Need to make sure that it covers the companion way completely yet not get in the way of any sail handling and winch areas.I went onto yachtworld.com and looked at all the photos of boats for sale which were my same make and model. Then I looked at all the other designs that people had come up with. See where they terminated to the deck and comings and things like that. It offered a lot of good ideas and options.Good luck.
