Had a fire in the garage last week (don't ask), and unfortunately my dodger was in there. I am in need of a current price for a replacment. Has any one bought one recently? I would be interested to know what you paid for it. I will ultimately have to have one made, but the insurance company wants the info, asap.

As i'm sure you know. A friend and I recently contracted for 2 new dodgers for our boats and the various canvas guys who provided quotes did so based largely on the width of the dodger and any special requirments,e.g., extra holes for rigging, flaps, window type, etc.His price for top of the line materials was around $2000 for my friends' and mine around $1700, both are for 40 ft boats. In the Rhode Island area if that matters.

Yes thank you, I am just trying to get a price for the insurance claim, I was thinking around $1400.00 for just the dodger, and I hoping I can find a local estimate. The new Dodger may wind up to be a new inflatable, but its up to the insurance company!

Cheap at that price.

Bob:We just had a deluxe dodger made for our Hunter Vision 36. The price with lexan windows, side rails, welded rear rail etc. was $3450. This was in line with several other quotes that I received.This was the price for everything including installation, which is not easy.
