I have a 1999 C30. The custom canvas shop in my area said the design of the boat did not allow for a dodger. This doesn't seem right to me. Do any of the MkIII owners out there have a dodger and where did you get it. Thanks Dan

I have a 310. I went on line and looked at a cat 30. I think you dodger maker is lazy or not very creative. The traveler could be a problem but on the 310 the traveler is right in front of the dodger...works great.

Dodgers almost standard equipment

My '89 had a dodger when I bought it (so I don't know where it came from). From my experience in buying the boat, dodgers seem to be almost standard on boats of that vintage; I'm sure you can install one on yours. I'd contact Catalina and ask them who makes them.

Hmmm... I've never heard of

a canvas maker that WON'T make a dodger for ANY boat. Especially one as popular as the Catalina 30. If you get stainless steel frame, price range is about $1200-1500.

Dodger Source

I have a 94' mklll with a dodger, bimini, connector, and side curtains from a Canadian company called Sportech. I have a little problem with the traveler rubbing against the dodger where it connects to the cabin top. This is caused by lack of forsite in location by the installer.I think they are on the web and in the Main Sheet. Jim S., SV Sea Nymph
