Okay folks, have recentley purchased a 1975 Pearson 30. I have been searching the web for companies that manufacture dodgers, and they are more than i expected. Anyone have any comments as to who sells a dodger that fits well and and is somewhat easy to install? Thanks Frank __/)

I forgot to tell you that it comes with all mounting hardware and is easy to install. The directions are clear and with all the added stuff to it such as: (window covers, extra leather edgeing, leather chafe gaurds etc.)the cost was minimal compared to others.

Make sure you buy one with handrails

along the outsides. You'll kick yourself for not getting them the first time you ehad forward when sailing. Plus, it's a real safety issue.

Stu is soooooooooo right !!!

My Catalina 30 had the handrails on the dodger. What a difference it made when going forward.

I Agree with Island Nautical ......

I put a stock Island Nautical Dodger on my P30 in 1987, sold the boat a few years later .... and that Island Nautical Dodger is still on the boat and still looks good. The price was VERY good back in 1987 and even back then their prices for a stock dodger were the 'best'.

another hooray for Island Nautical

I have done business with them over the years for sail cleaning, repair and I even bought a dodger. They do excellent work and stand by their product. You should have no problem as long as your measurements are accurate.

Yup, Island Nautical

Buy it at the boat show (or ask for the boat show price on the phone) My frame was aluminum and stainless was available at extra cost

Island Nautical!!

FYI... Island Nautical is a part of Doyle Sails of City Island, NY. These guys know sailboats and they know what sailors want!

Go local...

...and any fitting hassles are owned by them. Also, your service and warranted repairs would be local. Cheers, Bob
