It is nice to be able to sail year round, but when the wind is "blowing like stink", the spray blows over the bow. This is not a problem if I have crew to block the spray, but sometimes it is hard to get my girl friend to make this sacrifice, so I was considering building a removable dodger for my 1985 C-22. I was thinking that one could buy a couple stanchion mounts and screw them to the aft-outside of the cabin, bend a frame and cover it with plastic. Has anyone done this, or have suggestions?
