Recently published an article over in the "Boat Info" tab (42) that describes in some detail how I have our dodger and bimini set up on our boat. Really like it for a variety of reasons. Also published an addendum that describes how I deal with opening the dodger window to allow for cool air to come into the cockpit while at anchor. Rather than unzipping the front dodger window panel and rolling it up with snap button straps, instead I swing it back and secure it to the twist knob buttons to the underside rear of the dodger. When I had the new dodger/bimini installed, I converted over from the snap buttons to the stronger and more secure twist lock style button. A photo of this arrangement is here:
