We are planning to have a full enclosure installed on our 1993 Hunter 33.5. We are considering "The Ships Tailor" in Deltaville VA. Has anyone had an enclosure made by them and if so, what is your opinion on the quality and ease of use, options, cost and ease of use.

If there are other canvas shops that some of you have had please provide your thought on that, please.

A friend used them

I think the local hunter dealer uses them as their go to canvas shop. On his hunter it looked good.

The canvas on my Catalina 30 was made by them. I was VERY impressed with the work. I was told that you pay for their work but the canvas held up pretty good for the 8 years that I had the boat. It still had a few seasons left on it when I sold the boat.

Get covers for your dodger windows.

Clean and protect your windows frequently to keep them clear.

Take your canvas down in the winter

All of these things will help it last.

Check out Phase 2 in D'ville as well for price comparison. They made my Bimini; Ships Tailor did my dodger. Both did nice work.
