Has anyone had experience with this? It seems to me the anchor, no matter how well set, will drag some. And the rode will stretch. I wonder if such an anchor will actually keep your boat off a dock. Anyone?
I'm considering a helix mooring off my dock for storms - to keep my boat from biting the dock. I'm just skeptical that system can prevent the boat from moving toward the dock the several feet it would need to.
