having trailered boats everywhere, you can not believe what can happen, the best job you can do of making the boat and trailer one unit, is not good enough. big straps fore and aft, around the trailer frame and the boat are the minimum phil chenowetn

...correct that I was referring to the first post that says he doesn't strap his boat down (and also that studip person that sold Richard his boat and told him he didn't have to tie it down). Me and Eileen were talking about this this past weekend (while pulling my O23), and she couldn't believe this that people out there tow without straps, or as she pointed out while we were on the highway, seeing big boats tied down with bungees or a strap that looks like it came from a "dollar store"...as I said before, I could care less about your boat...in fact I would love to see you "learn your lesson", but not at the expense of me, my family, or any other innocent driver out there.
