If you use it with reasonable frequency it is a tool and should have it’s place.

If it sits on a shelf or in a drawer it is either supplies, or bric-a-brac. If the latter it probably does not earn a place on your -

I have a small DeWalt shop vac. I really do like it and it isn't all that heavy but it does take up space. I shouldn't classify it as excess junk, I use it fairly often.

I have this porter cable... runs off of the same bats as my cordless drill
