I have a few but haven’t put them on yet. I free it will look lame next to all the other decorated boats on our dock. @jssailem better get up here and doll up Hadley.

@LeslieTroyer I would but I have a concern about the fire hazard and now no water in the Marina due to the winter temps... Those Canadians are blowing their chilly air down the Frazier Gap and it’s starting to affect the balmy weather we’ve been having. Sure “it is starting to look a lot like Christmas”, but brrrrrr.

Thought the lights in the image looked a bit like Mahalo when she gets her teeth into a breeze.

Lighted Boat Parade was December 1. Missed it this year. Usually attend and watch from the dock behind Anthonys. And no lighted Belle-Vie here except we do have one lighted Pooh ornament that we keep on the boat in the main cabin. Plenty of lights at home, however.

It's the 8th at 5pm in Everett - My son just ran 120' of lights around the lifelines and davits -- don't know if I'll go - much depends on the admiral. I'll go up tomorrow or friday and add a timer to the lights so they are not on all the time.

This is the first year doing lights. Pretty modest compared to many boats but we're joining in with the Argosy Christmas carol parade on the 14th; Lake Union and the ship canal. The Admiral wants a lighted wreath at the bow...so a bit more bling is going to be added. Personally, I'd have preferred Rudolph.

I have never gotten into lights, but I love the idea and enjoy looking at others. Boat parades are really fun.

With all the Christmas lights ablaze, I’m guessing you do not need to have your Radar running sweeping the sky’s for danger or low flying sleighs.

I have to say, Santa doesn't look like he's a great sailor. Maybe that's why he's gone power instead.

Oh I am not to sure. The sails are set for a reach. He has the goodie bag well secured, and his butt cheeks appear securely set in the cockpit.

Yes, all true, but where's the form? Let's face it. Santa may have the theory down, but he obviously lacks form and practical knowledge. After all, how many days a year does Santa actually get to sail? And does he tarp, wrap or garage for a Winter that lasts 10 plus months out of the year? If I were him, bare boat charters would be the way I'd go.

Finished decorations this weekend for this year.

We did it differently this year. I bought some cheap polypropylene line, and Nylon bird netting, and made a net main sail to attache the lights to.

My son Tristan helped me hang them all up.
