Do you clean/service your raw water vented loop?

I am sure that most of you have somewhere in the sea water circuit a vented loop (anti sympon loop). Do you clean it and how often?

I clean my siphon break yearly but I use one made by Scott Mfg. which is easy to clean. Many of them can be cleaned andput back together easily in under 5 minutes. A little hot water dissolves dried salt quite well. Once clean put the siphon element to your lips and suck to check if it breaks siphon and blow to see ifit seals on pressure.
