In 2004 I believe that was the XPB. Some are also referred to as the XPB-C's which is Westerbeke/Universal's designation for a "C"/Catalina spec motor.

Kubota dealers have the filters and I believe the C-34 Site has cross references.

As MaineSail said, our engine is the XPB model. I usually order my filters from marinedieseldirect.com. They sell the geniune Universal brand filters. Also, in a pinch I've bought the filters from an auto parts store. The auto parts store can cross reference the Universal part number to sell you a Fram filter which they will most likely will not have in stock. I prefer just to order the Univeral filters.

OIl Filter

I have a 2004 model with the M-25XPB. I use theFram PH3593-A oil filters and have never had a problem.
Many other Catalina owners in my area use the same product.
