Dirty tank
Use more Clorox (I use 1 cup per 10 gallons) and leave it in there for a while (like a week or so). Remove any inline filters. Once you have the Clorox in the tank with the tank(s) full of water, run any and all pumps, faucets etc. to get the bleach into everything. Go motoring if you can with the bleach in the tank. The boat sloshes around more when motoring but you can sail if you must. After about a week, drain everything, then put more clear water in the tank, and drain again, rinsing the bleach out. Replace any inline filters and enjoy. You should have a good clean tank after that. Bob C-36
