Check out West Marine/BoatUS/Defender. They usually stock a product that you use to wash your sails. The easy method is to fill your bathtub and soak your sails. The other extreme is to send them to Sailcare in Pennsylvania. They will examine them, make any necessary repairs and clean your sails. I've used them 3 times for various sails and have no complaints.
lay it out on the lawn, soak it down, sprinkle it with tide (without bleach) and scrub with a long handled brush. Bad spots may require hands and knees action. Works for me on 85% of stains.
