Direction of Engine rotation

OK.... a stupid question...... Manual is at the boat so that is not an option. I have a Yanmar 3HM35F. When looking at the engine from the rear (facing alt. / water pump etc...) in what direction does the engine spin? I thnk counter clockwise...

Clockwise, viewed from the alternator/water pump (belt) end, CCW viewed from the flywheel end. I think. :neutral:

Yes, but remember that the prop shaft goes opposite because the gearbox changes the direction. so the prop will be "right hand"
