We are looking at a C30 with the L shaped dining area. How is the table supposed to work? The one we are interested in has a very cumbersome setup and we are wondering if it is the norm. You have to remove the table from the wall, turn it over, reattach it to the wall (by way of some brackets), then drop the leg down. We are hoping there is a better way. Susan Spengler

not that cumbersome

we use the table daily, and lower it at nite to make a large sleeping area .The aft bulkhead cussions fill in . Give it a try and you will see how easy it is . That should not hold you back from buying the c30

It's nice to have the table up

on the bulkhead and out of the way when you have company down below. Lots of space to stretch your legs. And makes checking the bilge way easier.

Yep, that's how they work

It's a little awkward, but not difficult. A little heavy for my wife to do by herself though...

Some have converted

People have come up with a variety of conversions to make things easier, but I haven't seen any that look that satisfactory. I've been toying with the idea of mounting two T tracks to the wall so that the table could be hinge mounted to a sliding block of wood. With the right hardware you could slide it up to use as a table or down for a bed or to fold up against the bulkhead.
