...ever tried to go back out to sea with your dinghy with stern wheels? PUT THEM DOWN!!!!!!!!!! or else the stern is high, bow is low and every wave that comes will flood your dinghy. Live and learn. abe

After three attempts of getting flooded...
..my wife, son, and I realized the problem. Have you every tried to turn a 2.8meterdinghy on its side with a 9.8hp engine to get rid of the water? Pretty heavy. Ruinned my camera...oh well I always wanted a digital camera. abe

My son and I had pulled up on a beach to place our trash in an approved garbage bin, when three waves rolled in, swamping the dinghy and getting me soaked, while he was dumping the trash. After finishing his laughter, I asked him to help me tip the boat over to get the water out. We had a 9.9 hp outboard on our 10-2 dinghy. Instead, he just looked and me and started laughing again. Hmm. "Gee, papa, did you just forget the drain plug in the transom, or do you really need the exercise?"
