Hi All: I ran across a web site that showed sunbrella covers for the tubes on a dingy, but cannot find the site anywhere now that I have an interest in the item. Has anyone seen anything like this anywhere on the web ? Thanks........ Jeff

West Marine has them.

Jeff: West Marine had them (I think). The price was about 25% of the cost of a quality dink ($500+).

I have a Sevylor Super Caravelle...

...with a nylon "boat boot". The boot is supposed to provide extra scuff protection and UV protection. This is one of the grey Super caravelles, not the cheaper yellow ones. The boat is pretty rugged on its own, the boot provide a little more stiffness and stability. The boat performs great for $130, the boot cost another $65 or so.

Thanks, guys

Steve - How did I know that the cost would be so high ? Actually, that price would be prohibitive for a product like that.. nice to have and all, but not a necessary item. George - also thanks. I'll take a look at their web site Jeff

Two other sites for Sevylor products

The Sevylor on-line outlet store - currently offering a model of the super caravelle for 139. www.sevylor.com, click on outlet store and www.inflatableboats.net - Click on the Sevylor link. I haven't used either link, I bought a Tahiti Kayak at Sam's in Keene NH over the weekend - model K79 - for $119 - it was on a 20% off sale.

SeaEagle.com has it

I bought a cover from Sea Eagle and have no issue with it. I use it to coveer the dinghy on shore. Hope it helps.

My thoughts too!

Jeff: I saw those dink chaps and thought, would that be cool or what. I saw the price and then thought that it may be cheaper to let it rot in the sun! Don't forget that was West Marine prices. Maybe 20-30% less elsewhere.
